We would like to help our guests leave everyday life behind and enjoy some wonderful #hinterseemoments with us.
With our “Active Summer” programme, you can try something new every day – from guided mountain bike and hiking tours to relaxing yoga sessions. With a different activity each day, you can breathe in the fresh mountain air and discover the beautiful landscapes of the Fuschlsee region.
An exciting and varied programme for couples as well as families with children and teenagers.

MONDAY
Hiking Shuttle to the Starting Point of Numerous Hiking Tours

Free of charge
Our Harry will take you in our hotel shuttle to Lämmerbach at the end of the valley. From there, numerous breathtaking hiking tours through the beautiful mountains of the Osterhorn Group begin.
Transfer to the Genneralm is available on request and for an additional charge.
For your return journey, you can simply use public transport, which runs hourly from the end of the valley back to the hotel.

TUESDAY
Herb Walk at Lake Fuschl or Herb Hike to the Gruberalm
Start: Meeting point at the reception at 9:15 am / Tour starts at 10:00 am
Registration by 4:00 pm the evening before
Experience the beautiful nature of the Salzkammergut on a guided wild herb tour with herbal expert Martina. The tour takes you either to the Gruberalm-Mayerlehenhütte or along the shores of Lake Fuschl, alternating weekly.
Discover native plants, enjoy breathtaking views and experience the peaceful beauty of nature.
WEDNESDAY
Guided Hike with a Guide – Mountain Tours & Summit Experiences in Hintersee & Faistenau
Time: 9:15 am – meeting point at the reception & departure to the starting point
Destination: A new destination is chosen every week – information available at the reception
Duration: Depending on the tour, 3–5 hours
Our mountain tours:
- Fibling in Faistenau
- Faistenauer Schafberg
- Bergalm in Hintersee
- Feichtenstein in Hintersee
Important information for the tour:
- Backpacks are available to borrow at the reception
- Sturdy footwear is required
- Hiking poles are available to borrow at the reception

Excursion Tip of the Week!
Every Thursday, we are delighted to introduce you to a new excursion tip in our beautiful Salzkammergut region. Whether it’s a cable car ride up the Zwölferhorn, a boat trip on Lake Wolfgang or an excursion along the breathtaking panoramic road to the Postalm.

FRIDAY
Canyoning in the Strubklamm Gorge, Ebenau
Start: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (additional dates)
Departure: Meeting point at the reception at 9:15 am or individual arrival
Where: Ebenau, Canyoning Team Strubklamm
For many, this is one of the best canyoning tours in the Salzburg region and the perfect half-day adventure. Canyoning in Ebenau, right in the heart of the Fuschlsee region, is all about experiencing nature at its best.
Fun and adventure await! Helmet on? Carabiners and ropes secured? Perfect – then you’re ready to follow the natural course of the Strubklamm Gorge, climbing down rocky ledges and plunging into ice-cold pools and streams. Not for the faint-hearted!

Every Saturday
- Yoga at the hotel from 8:00 to 9:00 am

Alpaca Hike in Faistenau
Looking for a truly special experience? Daniel and his team from Salzburgerland Alpakas will accompany you on an idyllic alpaca hike through the beautiful countryside of Faistenau. The gentle and friendly alpacas delight guests of all ages and can easily be led by children, making this a wonderful experience for the whole family.
Start: Meeting point at the reception at 9:30 am / Alpaca hike starts at 10:00 am in Faistenau

SUNDAY
Climbing Fun for Young & Old!
Forest Climbing Trail in Faistenau
- Climbing fun for young and old on a natural forest climbing trail in Faistenau
- Departure with the complimentary hotel shuttle at 10:45 am
- Return to the hotel at approx. 2:00 pm
- Duration: approx. 2 hours
- Information about the cost of the climbing trail is available at the reception
- Total length of the forest climbing trail: approx. 800 m / 68 stations
