How is personal data collected, stored and used?
We at the 3* Superior Hotel DAS Hintersee collect personal data in order to offer you the best possible service, to inform you and to be able to provide you with an appropriate range of services. In doing so, we ask for personal data that helps us to be able to issue an offer or, at your request, a reservation confirmation and thus include your data in our hotel programme. In doing so, we limit ourselves to data that is necessary for the fulfilment of the order or the pre-contractual offer. Furthermore, you will help us to keep you informed about special offers that may be of interest to you and news for your holiday. Of course, you can inform us at any time - simply and free of charge - if you no longer wish to receive further product offers, news or special offers. Your personal data will be stored for as long as is necessary to fulfil the services listed and we assume that you may have a legitimate interest in receiving further information and as long as no revocation has been made.
What data is collected?
For the fulfilment of your wishes, e.g. to receive an offer, to make a booking, to buy a voucher, to subscribe to a newsletter, only such data is requested and collected as is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for pre-contractual information. This can be: first name, last name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address or date of birth. A further data request may be made in order to find out holiday interests - these are not necessary for an offer, a reservation and are therefore not obligatory to give.
What rights do you have when dealing with your data?
You have the right to correct your data: If you notice in our communication that we have recorded data incompletely/incorrectly, please inform us of the corrections. You are generally entitled to the rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. Please inform us by e-mail if you wish to assert your rights accordingly. We politely point out that we require a copy of your identity card for e-mail enquiries to ensure that you are making a legitimate enquiry.
To whom is your data passed on and if so, why?
We at the 3* Superior Hotel DAS Hintersee hereby confirm that we do not sell any guest data to third parties for marketing or other deviating purposes. In order for you to receive our company information, reservations and/or orders, we work with external partners who perform these services for us. These are, for example, printers and lettershops who ensure that the mail you request is properly delivered to you, as well as newsletter senders who are exclusively order processors with whom we have an order data processor agreement and who are required to provide us with the highest level of data protection. The inclusion of links from the hotel website to other external websites does not involve the transfer of personal data, but is merely for the purpose of providing further information. We take no responsibility for the content of other external, non-hotel websites. These may be links to sports partners, leisure facilities in the region, mountain railways, tourist associations, etc. Our guests decide for themselves whether they wish to follow these links or not. We are also happy to answer any questions you may have by telephone or e-mail.
Information security and data protection
We take technical measures to increase information security in data protection and to protect your data from loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure and destruction. In areas where credit card information may be entered through the website, we use SSL encryption. This ensures the confidentiality of your personal credit card data during transactions over the Internet.
Personal data for applications made by e-mail or via an application form
We are pleased that many applicants contact us by e-mail and send us their application documents. Applicant data is stored for a maximum of seven months for the purpose of the application, employee search, interest in an advertised position or a position that may be advertised in the future.
Video recordings and photo data
If video recordings are made in public areas in the hotel, we will inform you by marking them accordingly. Video recordings will be kept for 72 hours and will only be viewed by authorised persons. Photo shoots: If photo shoots take place in our hotel, we will inform you accordingly in our communication media in the hotel. We do not post guest photos on our website or social media channels without your consent.
