It takes just 20 minutes to get from the Salzburgring to the 4-star Hotel DAS Hintersee near the Osterhorn range – just a short hop away and perfect for anyone who, alongside all the horsepower and the roar of engines on the racetrack, fancies taking it down a gear to enjoy the natural beauty and culinary delights of the Salzkammergut.

Any guests who’d like to put their skills to the test off the race track, on forest and meadow paths and the odd trail, will find plenty of opportunities to do so at DAS Hintersee. At our in-house KTM bike hire, everyone can find the right equipment and the perfect KTM e-bike to suit them. Just a two-minute cycle away is our bike course, a large practice area with various obstacles where you can test the bikes’ off-road capabilities for yourself.

But DAS Hintersee is also an ideal venue for seminars and incentive events. Here, DAS Hintersee stands out with its superbly equipped seminar rooms, a total of 65 accommodation units, five newly built, exclusive chalets with a panoramic sauna and hot tub on the terrace, typical Austrian hospitality and many other extras. These include an exclusive shuttle service that takes guests to and from the Salzburgring, drives their companions to Salzburg for a spot of shopping, for example, or, if they are travelling without a car, takes them from the station or airport to their chosen destination.
If you’re travelling by car, you can park in one of the 26 reserved spaces in our underground car park, which also features four electric charging points.
If you’d like, you can round off the day with a culinary treat featuring regional specialities, accompanied by a glass of wine or a refreshing beer, before setting off on a new high-octane adventure at the Salzburgring the following day.
