Husky Trekking

We have something special for nature lovers, dog lovers, and adventurers! From April 25th to 27th, 2025, you have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful spring days in Hintersee by participating in a husky trekking event.

Furry friends, diverse hikes, and dreamy spring days await you. Look forward to furry companions with bright blue eyes who will give you an unforgettable and action-packed day. Immerse yourself in magical moments surrounded by a stunning landscape as you explore the mountains of the Osterhorn Group and form a dynamic team with a husky. During your adventure tour, you will also learn exciting facts about these fascinating dogs.

• 2 guided husky trekking tours with guides Lisa & Nina
• Guided hike along the Joseph Mohr Memorial Trail by the hotel manager

Program Schedule:

Friday:

• Comfortable arrival at the hotel until 4:30 p.m.
• 5:00 p.m. Welcome and introduction session with the dogs
• 6:30 p.m. Dinner with guides Lisa & Nina
• 8:00 p.m. Guided hike along the Joseph Mohr Memorial Trail with stories from the owner

Saturday:

• Breakfast from 7:30 a.m.
• Meeting point at 8:30 a.m. with the dogs - equipment distribution, followed by a hike directly from the hotel along the Wald-Wasser Zauberweg (Wood-Water Magic Trail) up to the Feichtensteinalm and descent via the Gruberalm to Lämmerbach - from there back to Hintersee directly to the hotel.
  • Planned duration: approx. 4.5 hours, approx. 500 meters of ascent, approx. 12 km route length
  • Includes short breaks along the way - no refreshments
• Option for a late lunch at the hotel
• Afternoon ~ Option for wellness in the "Bergwelt" SPA or time for another sport
• 6:30 p.m. Dinner together

Sunday:

• Breakfast together from 7:30 a.m.
• Meeting point: 9:00 a.m. Final laps around Lake Hintersee To wind down and regenerate your legs (5 km, flat circular trail).
• Option for lunch at the hotel and subsequent return home
• Extension days are of course possible

• Suitable outdoor clothing (multiple layers)

• Medium to good fitness is required, as our beloved four-legged friends have a lot of energy
